Get Ready For Texas De Brazil’s Grand Rapids Debut
Every once in a while, you wanna try a truly unique dining experience and find a place that can cook up a good steak, offer a good salad, and some unique menu items. One of those places is Texas de Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse, and it looks as though this fall they’re going to be adding a brand new location to the Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids.
Texas de Brazil started out as a dream in Porto Alegre, Brazil, with hopes of bringing the Cherasco culture to the United States.
As you can imagine, the first location opened up in the United States was in Texas. Let’s start it off, as a family-owned restaurant has now expanded to 54 restaurants nationwide.

There are currently locations in Detroit, Westlake, Woodmere, Ann Arbor, and in the fall, they’ll be expanding to Grand Rapids at 3195 28th St. SE., unit R 103.
This seems to be the former location of the Black Rock, which recently closed down. The menu features over 15 different kinds of meats, and the salad area provides nearly 50 items to choose from.
They also have hot sides, desserts, and an extensive bar and cocktail menu. You can read more about them on their website as we prepare for them opening their Grand Rapids location this fall.
