Battle Creek’s BBQ And Mac Cheese Fest Is Coming Soon

Battle Creek has long enjoyed throwing food festivals, from the longest breakfast cereal table to some of the newer events they’ve held. Que the Creek and The Big Cheese, their annual barbecue festival and mac & cheese festival, respectively, have been two of their biggest events that they’ve held.

Now they are combining forces and bringing the Que The Creek BBQ Fest and The Big Cheese Mac & Cheese Fest together for Que The Cheese, a barbecue and mac & cheese festival, which will be held on February 28, 2026 from 3 to 7 PM at Kellogg Arena.

WHAT TO EXPECT

$7 admission gets you in the door. You are then able to try out a variety of vendors serving up the best mac & cheese from Battle Creek and surrounding areas. Samples range in price, so you can make sure to try them all! Beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are available for purchase throughout the arena. Make sure to vote for who your favorite mac & cheese vendor was! Voting is simple. Scan the QR code and select your favorite!

Vendors who are interested in joining the event can fill out the form here, as they've already started to add entertainment to the event festivities. They've currently got The Fat Animals, a five-piece ensemble fusing soul, funk, blues, and psychedelia set to play.
