Join The Fun At McDonald’s Fundraiser For Prairieview Elementary
Even though McDonald’s is a national fast food chain, it is easily one of the most recognizable brands on the planet. Although they’re nationally recognized, they continue to have an impact in the local community.
One McDonald’s in Battle Creek is hosting an event on Wednesday, January 21, that will not only support children but also the school they attend in Battle Creek.
The McDonald’s at 812 W. Columbia Ave. in Battle Creek will host a McTeacher night, a night where families coming together to do what they do every night can make a big impact on one local school, as Administrative Assistant Courtney Laine detailed to us in an email:
We will be hosting McTeacher night at the Columbia Ave W McDonald's on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 4:30PM-7:00PM for Prairieview Elementary Schools. School staff and teachers will be on sire to welcome and assist families and students that evening.
Who Will Be Making The Donation?
Maynard Family McDonald's will be donating a percentage of all sales, including mobile app orders, to Prairieview Elementary. We encourage the community to come see their favorite principal and teachers to raise money for educational programs.
This is a great opportunity to go out and grab a bite to eat with the family and also support your local schools. More money that’s raised for the school will allow for updated equipment and supplies needed to further the education of the kids in Battle Creek.
According to their website, McDonald’s Corporation donated $20 million to RMHC in 2024 as part of its five-year, $100 million commitment to help support families when they need it most.
