There won’t be any spoilers to the documentary in this article, but I can definitely say that you are not going to believe all the crazy things that happened in the story. We just hope that Lauryn can heal and live a comfortable life in the future.
According to Netflix, it gives the following description:
A teen girl and her boyfriend face persistent harassment from an unknown caller. Police investigating the months of torment discover a revelation that upends their initial assumptions.

USA Today goes into a little more descriptive telling as to what went down:
Teenagers Lauryn Licari and her then-boyfriend Owen began receiving threatening text messages from an unknown number. After a brief pause, the messages resumed in September 2021 and escalated into thousands of vile and threatening text messages sent over the next 15 months. The messages contained information only someone close to Lauryn would have known, throwing twist into the mystery.
What To Do If You're Being Cyberbullied
There are some crucial things you need to do if you're being cyberbullied:
- Don’t respond to or forward cyberbullying messages.
- Block the person who is cyberbullying.
- Keep evidence of cyberbullying. Record the dates, times, and descriptions of instances when cyberbullying has occurred. Save and print screenshots, emails, and text messages. Use this evidence to report cyberbullying to web and cell phone service providers and social media sites.
