The winter storm that hit us in the Midwest over the weekend was the first of many waves of snowstorms that we will be getting in the 2025 through 2026 winter season, and just about everyone and everything was feeling the effects of the snowstorm, including robots.

On campuses in many universities, including Notre Dame in Indiana, it’s not uncommon to see delivery robots try to deliver food to students who are in a hurry.

Over the weekend, during the massive snowstorm Notre Dame was seeing, storm chaser Jaden Pappenheim filmed footage of one of these delivery robots caught in the snowstorm, saying:

This robot is fighting for its life at Notre Dame right now.

The robot can be seen in the video below, trying its best to make it its way through the snow, and as you can imagine, the comment section did not disappoint. One person offered commentary as if they were the voice for the robot:

They could’ve put a heater in me, but noooooo. Save a few bucks. All weather tread on the tires? Nooooooo, save a few bucks.

Somebody even made a great point that somebody needs to attach a mini snowplow to the front of this thing.

Another person pointed out that apparently, these things are charged by the minute, so whoever is having something delivered is gonna be paying heavily for whatever it is they ordered, that is if the robot has even made it to them yet. Just shows that nothing can beat a good pair of legs to make a delivery.
