Michigan Police Officer Stops Speeding Driver… To Deliver a Baby!
A police officer who was performing a routine traffic stop was in for quite the surprise when he got out of his vehicle and approached the truck.
When he got to the truck, Officer Hasan of the Melvindale Police Department quickly realized why the truck was speeding.
Sitting in the passenger seat was Maria, who was in active labor.
Her husband was rushing her to hospital before the baby arrived.

Officer Hasan called for backup, and that’s when Corporal Mohamed Hacham arrived.
At that time, the 911 dispatcher decided they needed to deliver the baby right there in the parking lot.
Corporal Mohamed Hacham, who has been with the Police Department for the past three years, trained for delivering a baby in the academy—but had never encountered this situation in real life
Thankfully for him, the 911 dispatcher that was helping guide him through the delivery was actually his brother Joe.
The two were able to work together and the baby was safely delivered.
Maria and her baby daughter, whom she named Galilea, are now back home and doing well.
When I hear a story like this, I can’t help but think that everything happened that night for a reason.
What are the odds that he pulls them over, and that when he contacted dispatch his brother would be there to help keep him calm and talk him through the delivery?
